E-shopping is fun!

Nowadays, when the Web environment is dominating and determining our lifestyles, we do not only search the World wide web and use its facilities for gathering information and acquiring digital content – we also see the Internet as a global trade market. Invention of the World wide web made stay-at-home shopping possible, and, moreover, popular!

Before the are of e-shopping, we had tele-shopping, which we now can only estimate as kind of a parody on shopping over the Internet. Why? The answer is simple. On a TV screen, you only see a video presentation of a product. It is shown once and gone, and you can not stop or rewind it to examine some moments once again more carefully or see if you’ve missed something. While the Internet – cheers! – offers you the same comfort as if you’re visiting a real shop. Read text, see video, listen to people talk; and you can stop, rewind, compare and re-examine as long as you need to. You can also visit other sites and use search engines and get an independent opinion on the product just in minutes.

Let us see how a typical “e-supermarket” functions. It is a big shop, if it’s been real, not virtual, we’d call it a “mall”, so it has got several sections of content. (read more…)
